Compared to older solutions, DDR4 modules have a 1.2 V supply voltage, which enables reduction of operating costs and increase in energy savings by up to 40%. DDR4’s different PCB design vs. older generations, significantly increases the resistance to mechanical damage as well as voltage spikes within the device.
