Very high efficiency The Samsung 970 Evo Plus uses an NVMe 1.3 (PCIe Gen 3.0 x4) connector, a Phoenix controller, and Samsung’s advanced V-NAND chips. This combination offers very high speeds, reaching 3500MB/s for sequential reads (for all capacities) and 3300MB/s for writes for 1TB drives, 3300MB/s for 500GB drives and 2300MB/s for 250GB drives.
